New Vonnegut adaptation coming

2081 releases on DVD later this month. Based on Kurt Vonnegut's short story, "Harrison Bergeron," the film shows a future where everyone is, finally, truly equal. To accomplish that, the government has forced "handicaps" on those of any extraordinary ability whatsoever. I remember reading the story years ago, and thought it was a bracing vision of dystopia.
